A Baby dedication is actually more of a "parent dedication".
Your child most likely doesn't understand the significance of this event in their life. This your commitment to honor the Lord's blessing of being a parent and stewardship of His child.
Psalms 127: 3-5 3 Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. 5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.

At River of Life, we believe in dedicating children to the Lord. It is a very important and special occasion for both the child and the parents. This is a time where parents make a public covenant with God to raise their children in the fear, nurture, and admonition of the Lord. They commit to live their lives as examples for their children according to God's Holy Word.
